November 6th-9th is Anime Nebraskon, dear people, and I have some official announcements of official.

As you all know, and I are having a shiny little artist's booth together.

Here's what's up with my side:

FOR SURE:

Chibi drawings on demand-
$5 for a quick pencil sketch
$8 for an inked sketch
$15 for full color

Anime Drawings On Demand:
$10 for pencil sketch
$17 for inked sketch
$25 for full color

YOUR (POSSIBLE) QUESTIONS ANSWERED:

PAYMENT: I WILL NOT START A DRAWING UNTIL I AM PAID. NO EXCEPTIONS. I am not able to accept cards for payment, so please have cash.

Okay, what the hell does "inked" mean?
-This means I will erase all construction lines and ink your drawing in my inking medium of choice.

Okay, then what does full color mean?
-This means that I will both ink your drawing and color it in watercolor pencils/colored pencils. If you want something digitally colored, it can be negotiated, but it will have to be after the convention that you recieve your finished art. It will be very rare that I will make digital color images on request because I am a full time student, and I do not like to promise work when I do not know when I will be able to deliver.

How many will you do a day?
-CHIBIS: Quick sketches are unlimited, or until my hand gives out. Inked drawings I am setting a limit at five a day, and color I am limiting to two a day. These limits are set due to the fact that I may very well have homework the weekend of Nebraskon, and school has to take top priority. If I have less of a workload that weekend, the numbers may go up.
-ANIME STYLE: Pencil sketches are limited to three a day, inked drawings are limited to two a day, and full color is limited to one.
-WHY THE DIFFERENCE?
Chibis I can doodle almost limitlessly, without a great deal of effort, and still have a quality product at the end. A full color chibi, on average, will take an hour to go from sketch to a satisfactory colored image. Anime style drawings can take up to three times that long, if not longer, because I want to give you the highest quality product I can. Let's face it, if I do much more than outlined above, I will run myself into the ground, and collapsing at the convention is terribly embarrassing.

Sooo.... about these requests...
-I will do portraits of you, and of characters as long as the convention allows. If it's a character I've never heard of, I will ask you to provide some sort of visual reference for me. If you want more than one person in a drawing, the price WILL go up.
-POLICY ON NUDITY: Nudity will be drawn at my disgression, and ONLY if you can present me with legal identification that says you are eightteen years of age or older. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-POLICY ON ORIGINAL CHARACTERS: Give me a lot of reference, as much as you possibly can, and refer to the "What if I don't like the result?" question below.

What materials will you be using?
-A sketchpad, pencils, ballpoint pens, watercolor pencils, and colored pencils.

What if I don't like the result?
-Please try to be as clear as you possibly can in what you want so that I can make sure I can meet your expectations. I will ONLY give refunds if I absolutely cannot get to the drawings scheduled that day due to emergency. This should not happen, but if it does, it does.

How can I pick drawings up?
-I will assign you a number on a sticky note that will correspond to a number on your drawing, and I will also take your name. I will ask for both when you pick up the drawing to try to prevent theft of artwork.

WHEN can I pick drawings up?
-Quick chibi pencils can be sketched while you wait, approx. fifteen to twenty minutes. Pencil sketches may be picked up at the end of the convention day. Other drawings may be picked up the next day of the convention, or before the close of the convention on Sunday. You are welcome to come by and check on the status of your drawing, and if I have it finished early, I will give it to you early, but I will most likely not have drawings finished before the next day of the convention if they are inked or colored.

What about rush orders? What if I pay you double?
-Not likely.

Hey, this drawing is neat. Can I put it on my website?
-Only if it is a portrait of you or your original character, if you give me full credit and provide a link back here to my deviant art page, [link] I WILL BE TAKING SCANS/PHOTOS OF ALL DRAWINGS I MAKE AND POSTING THEM ON MY DEVIANT ART PAGE. PLEASE DO NOT CLAIM MY ARTWORK AS YOUR OWN.

What is your policy on art trades?
-I will handle this on a case by case basis, but I prefer cash when possible.

Can I haggle with you?
-You are welcome to try, but it most likely will not succeed.

What if I don't want to wait for my portrait sketch to be done?
-I will take a picture of you to use as reference. These pictures will not be published anywhere, they will only be used to make your artwork.
